# Comments & review

Click the sentence, chart or screen you mean and say what you think. Every comment stays with the version it was written on, and clients can join without a seat in your workspace.

## What it does

- Pin it to the page: Switch to Comment on a site’s page and click what you mean. Switch back to Browse and links and buttons work as usual.
- Or the whole page: Write a general note when there is nothing in particular to point at.
- Tied to a version: Each comment shows the version it was written on, so the conversation keeps its context.
- Reply and resolve: Threads have replies. Resolve one when it’s handled and reopen it if it isn’t.
- Clients without a seat: Invite people outside your workspace by email. They get a sign-in link, need no account, and only ever see that page.
- Or let them ask: Let anyone who can open the page ask for a sign-in link. Pages behind a password stay invite only.
- Their threads or everyone’s: Choose whether outside reviewers see every thread or only their own.
- A Comment button on the page: Add a button to the published page itself, so reviewers find their way back.

## Who can comment on a site?

Everyone in your workspace. People outside it can comment when you invite them by email, or, if you allow it, ask for a sign-in link from the page itself.

## What happens to comments when I publish a new version?

They stay on the version they were written on and are labelled with it, so feedback on v2 still makes sense after v3 goes live.

## Do outside reviewers see the rest of our workspace?

No. A guest signs in with an emailed link and only ever sees the page they were invited to. You choose whether they see every thread or only their own.
