No Kubernetes. No exceptions.
Self-hosted ·
A host that cannot run in the customer’s cloud is a non-starter for the teams that need this most — finance, health, anything with a perimeter. Marketplace appliances and Helm charts assume a platform team. The people who want Publidock inside the VPC often do not have one.
The same artifact
One static Go binary. Embedded UI, auth gate, upload API, file serving. Postgres or SQLite. Any S3-compatible bucket. TLS can terminate in the binary or behind the proxy you already run.
docker compose up -d is a working install: Postgres, MinIO, the product. Ten minutes, start to finish. Bare metal, AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, air-gapped. Nothing phones home for licence checks that cannot run offline.
Kubernetes is a non-goal. If a paying customer’s platform team later requires a chart, that is a later conversation. It is not how v1 is sold.
Standard or Enterprise
Both are the whole product, licensed per instance, with no limits on sites, members, or storage. Enterprise adds governance — org-wide sharing policy, audit log — plus contracted support and managed updates through a portal. The install is the same either way.
