Connect Publidock over MCP once, choose what the assistant may do, and ask it to publish what it made. Steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and more.

Your AI assistant just made a dashboard. The useful next step is a link, not a file to download and upload somewhere. Publidock works as an MCP server, so the assistant can publish what it made and hand back the address.

## Connect once

The address is `https://app.publidock.com/mcp`. There is no key to paste: the tool signs you in.

**Claude:** open Customize, then Connectors, press +, then Add custom connector. Paste the address, press Add, and sign in. On Team or Enterprise, an owner adds it first under Organization settings, then Connectors.

**ChatGPT:** open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. Open `chatgpt.com/plugins`, press +, name it Publidock, choose a public endpoint, paste the address and sign in. This needs Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education.

**Claude Code:** run `claude mcp add --transport http publidock https://app.publidock.com/mcp`, then `/mcp` to sign in.

**Cursor, VS Code, Codex and Gemini CLI** each add a remote MCP server the same way. The Connect page in the app has a one-click button or the exact command for each. Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth will work.

## Decide what it may do

When the tool connects, Publidock shows a consent screen with the permissions it asks for:

- **Read**: see your sites, canvases and design systems.
- **Draft**: add drafts to canvases you can edit. Drafts stay private.
- **Publish**: publish sites and canvas outputs, which opens them to whoever their sharing allows.
- **Share**: change who can open your sites.

Nothing is granted until you allow it, and the API checks the permission on every call. No AI connection can reach members, tokens, billing or workspace settings. Connections last 30 days, and end at once if you revoke them.

## Then ask

“Publish this dashboard to Publidock and give me the link.”

The assistant publishes, and tells you the address and who can open it. Ask it to “share it with anyone at acme.com” or “update the Q3 report with this version”, and it does that too, within the permissions you gave it.

## Before it publishes something private

A new site starts with link sharing, and publishing from a tool can go live straight away. For confidential work, tell the assistant who should be able to open it in the same request, or set the rule yourself first. The [access guide](/blog/restrict-access-to-published-html) covers each rule.

For CI or scripts, use the CLI or the HTTP API with a token scoped to one site. The [docs](/docs#mcp) have both, and [publish from your AI](/product/ai) gives the overview.
